honestly this started out as a dat dream in a classroom to escape for just a lil bit.
I never thought that I would be so close to my dreams. frailer is mt biggest fear, its the fear that's always creeping behind me and making me question everything, go over planed 100 more times than probably needed, and having buck up plans for literally everything. it also doesn't help in a first child and first daughter, because of this sometimes I feel everybody's weight on me, wanting me to be the best, succeed, be there for everyone, provide, take care, be as selfless as possible and then more. so, with struggling with this and whatever life wanted to throw at me I'm so grateful for you guys for the beginning of my career and I'm proud of myself too. love you guy and love yourselves.
Acrylic:
when using and applying acrylic there has to be use of monitor in order for the product to polymerize or honestly do anything. With the monitor sometimes not too often but often enough that it dose happen, when its too concentrated or strong it runs a possibility to burn when applying and that lady’s and gentleman is a chemical burn, I usually stop this by keeping a spay bottle of 91% or higher of alcohol and o spray the nail a good healthy spray this 99%of time works and if it don’t, girl you better take that off your finger.
Gel:
In some gels there’s hema and some people are allergic or sensitive to it and you don’t know till it happens, theres options that are hema free but some aren’t credible so do some research before trusting and buying.
gel polish:
gel polish is probably the one that you need to research on the most with Hema because a lot of over-the-counter gels like beetles have an excessive amount of Hema in them and they can’t regulate or tell you how much is in there because they don’t know and with the resources that they use they can’t really filter it so when they have products that say Hema free sometimes there’s just a little bit of Hema and if you’re using it on a natural nail pad, you can have an immediate allergic reaction or you can get contact dermatitis and even with using it on a gel base or an acrylic base if you get it anywhere on the cuticle, even without curing it, it can spike that allergic reaction or it can spike the contact dermatitis and you’ll break out you’ll get itchy so with this I would suggest buying not the most expensive brands, but I would definitely go with an alternative like DND I use that I also use XEIJAYL and that is actually a brand that you can get off Temu and it’s never caused me issues. I don’t suggest buying it just any nail polish or any acrylic or really any nail supplies just off of any platform like that but if you do your research, then it can be acceptable, but if you’re doing your research and still buying something that has all of these cautions and using them on clients rather than press on then you are small minded in my opinion.
